Does my phone need an IR blaster?
Yes. The app drives your phone's built-in IR emitter. Phones without one cannot send signals, and the app tells you on launch if yours lacks it.
Which TVs does it work with?
Eleven brands and 146 buttons: Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Philips, Vizio, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba, JVC, Insignia. Magic Mode sweeps variants starting with Samsung until your TV answers.
What permissions does it ask for?
None at runtime. The IR transmit permission is granted at install, and everything runs offline on your device.
How does Magic Mode work?
One tap fires volume-up codes variant by variant, fastest first. When the TV responds, tap IT WORKED, name the venue, and the brand is saved as a profile.
